Our Role: Foundation and Structural Design

Project Description: Suncity Berhad is the developer for the proposed development of high end bungalow villas. The site is located at the opposite of Sunway Medical Centre and the access road will be via Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) and KESAS expressway.

Foundation and Superstructures: The site is founded on an ex-mining area which consists of lime stone, slime and uneven surface range from 3-9 metres. Pad footing, raft and RC pile were introduced in unit basis to achieve safety ,cost effective and micropile design.

Our Role: Geotechnical assessment, design of temporary work, civil and structural works

Project Description: Glenmarie Cove Development, comprise of luxurious bungalow and semi-detached houses.
Foundation and Superstructures. The geology condition for this development founded on approximately 40.0m thick soft marine clay. Soil improvement method such as vertical drain and surcharge was adopted to improve the l shear strength of soil. 200 x 200 pre-cast rc pre-cast pile with penetration length of 36.0m was adopted as the most economical foundation system. Piled raft was introduced with the following consideration:-

  1. To have a cost effective pile point design.
  2. To expedite the speed and time of sub-structure and super-structure construction period .
  3. To minimize the differential settlement of building to zero.

The superstructure consists of conventional beam-slab and column system with the use of lightweight brick and modular construction system for architectural feature and facade.

Project Description: JPP was engaged by Bandar Eco Setia Sdn Bhd for the foundation and structural design for 72 units of bungalows and semi detached houses

Foundation and
Superstructures:
The whole Geology condition for the show village founded on approximately 12.0 m thick. Engineering fill where the safe soil bearing pressure should be achieved 1 ton per square foot. In order to justified the safe soil bearing pressure. JKR / Mackintosh Probe had been adopted on site. The required JKR / Mackintosh Probe value is 41 blows per foot for 1.0 tonne per square foot of safe soil bearing pressure. The footing foundation is to review and re-design based on the actual safe soil bearing pressure obtained through JRK / Mackintosh Probe.

Project Description: 100 acres of gated bungalow developments known as “Beverley Hill” of Malaysia. Located within IOI Palm Garden Resort and adjoining 5-star Putrajaya Marriott Hotel. Platforms was designed based on the topography and contours of the hill to minimise cut and to preserve the environment.

Our Role: Main infrastructure planning, design and supervision of earthworks, water supply, sewerage and roads and drainage works. Our scope also covers the design of foundation and structures.

Project Description: The proposed mixed development consists of 460 acres of residential, institutional and commercial developments. It is located next to the existing Parkland developed by WCT Land Berhad. The development consists only semi-detached and cluster homes, commercial and retails with 3km river promenade to be landscaped and maintained by the developer. The construction of earthworks is on going and piling for the sales gallery shall commenced in May 2011.

Project Description: Sierra 16 is located at the border of Puchong and Cyberjaya, a self contained 600 acres of mixed and Green Township. The proposed 263 units of high cost 3-storey super-link houses on piled foundation on deep fills. Conventional structural systems were used due to many off sizes.

Project Description: The mixed development is known as Kemuning Utama and it covers over an area of 630 acres consisting mainly residential, commercial units, schools and a hypermarket. The development is divided by KESAS Expressway and it has direct access from the expressway to the Eastern and Western sectors. The proposed development is at the final stage with the last parcel of medium-rise apartments under construction.

Project Description: The proposed 390 acres of mixed development is located adjacent Klang Sentral and bounded by Bandar Bukit Raja II & III. It has direct access from Jalan Meru and Persiaran Setai Alam. The mixed development consists mainly of high end residential housing and will be a gated and guarded community. The earth filling work is scheduled to commence by middle of 2011. The layout plan is pending MPFN approval.

Project Description: The proposed 12 acres of high end residential development is known as The Mirage and consists of bungalow villas and 3 blocks of 13 storey apartments facing Putrajaya Lakes. The architecture design is unique and designed by Crosscape based in Singapore. Earthwork has been completed and bored piling is scheduled by end of May 2011.

Project Description: The proposed development covers an area of 50 acres and consists mainly high end bungalow villas, semi-detached houses and 3 blocks of high-rise condominiums. It is located at a high ground and balanced cut and fill will be carried out. The overall layout plan has been approved by MPS and the construction of earthwork is scheduled to commence in June 2011.

Project Description: The proposed township developments consists of commercial, institutional and residential. It further divided into two zones, Bandar Setia Alam, Setia Eco Park and associates of PKNS. The exclusive residential development, Setia Eco Park is a geted and guarded development consist only semi-detached homes and bungalows. It has won several international and local awards.
